Looking for a recipe to use up leftovers

When the fridge has half a roasted chicken, three carrots, and a bag of rice. Frameworks more than recipes.
  1. Fried rice — Kenji López-Alt at Serious Eats any leftover protein + veg
    Day-old rice is the secret.
  2. Frittata — NYT Cooking any leftover protein + cheese
    Eight eggs, dump it in.
  3. Soup-of-everything — Smitten Kitchen 'pantry minestrone' broth + canned beans + pasta
    Whatever's there.
  4. Stir fry — Made With Lau (YouTube) any protein + sauce + rice
    Sauce is the variable.
  5. Quesadilla — Bon Appétit any cheese + any filling
    Last-resort dinner.
  6. Hash — King Arthur Baking blog potato + protein + onion
    Breakfast or dinner.
  7. Grain bowl — NYT Cooking rice/farro + roasted veg + sauce
    Use up everything.
  8. Soup-from-bones — NYT Cooking 'rotisserie chicken stock' carcass + water
    Two hours, free stock.
  9. Pasta with whatever — Marcella Hazan butter sauce + parm any leftover meat + pasta
    If desperate.
  10. Eggs Benedict but with leftovers leftover protein + egg + bread
Hollandaise is overkill; mayo + lemon works.
